With just 2 weeks to go to our first race, excitement is mounting! The series is a great buildup to the Bay Union King of the Bay which has been confirmed for 4 August and is the KZN surfski singles champs.
A big thank you to Carbonology Sport for sponsoring a set of paddles – a lucky draw prize for those who enter all 4 races by the end of registration evening on Thursday 4th July at PWC and a Carbonology Sport single ski of your choice – a lucky draw prize for those who take part in all 4 races. The lucky draw will take place at prize-giving after the last race.
All the short course races will be Bay races. The distance has been increased from 6km to 8km.
We have added a prize category for under 16 to reward the youngsters for their efforts and there will also be a father and son/daughter prize category since these categories were so popular last year.
The CSA DotCloud system is up and running. You will be able to enter our races online at www.canoesa.com (from next week) or at registration evening on Thursday 4th July or on race day.
As usual our prize categories are equal for men and woman. All the prize templates are up on our website and can be viewed here
